Terms

The deal, in plain words.

What you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how either of us walks away. Last updated 29 July 2026.

These terms apply when you use TeamCaddy. Using it means you accept them. If you're agreeing on behalf of a club, you're confirming you're allowed to.

Who can use it

  • You must be 18 or over to hold a TeamCaddy account. Children do not get accounts and cannot sign in.
  • If you add a player who is a child, you're confirming you're their parent or guardian, or that you're a coach or administrator authorised by the club to hold that information.
  • One person, one account. Don't share a login with a co-coach — add them properly, it takes ten seconds and costs nothing.

Your content

Rosters, schedules, messages and photographs you put into TeamCaddy stay yours. We don't claim ownership, we don't licence it to anyone, and we don't use it to train models or to advertise. We hold it so we can show it back to the people you've given access to, and we delete it when you tell us to.

You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — particularly photographs of other people's children. If a parent asks for a photo to come down, take it down.

What you agree not to do

  • Use TeamCaddy to harass, bully or endanger anybody, adult or child.
  • Upload anything unlawful, or anything sexual involving a minor. This ends the account immediately and is reported.
  • Export contact details in order to market to families, or sell them on.
  • Try to reach data belonging to teams you're not part of, or probe the service for weaknesses without telling us first.
  • Resell TeamCaddy as your own product without a written agreement.

If you find a security flaw, email security@teamcaddy.app. Report it in good faith and we won't pursue you — we'll thank you.

Paying

  • The free plan is free. No card, no trial period, no expiry.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in US dollars, and renew until you cancel. Prices are on the pricing page.
  • Parents and guardians are never charged by TeamCaddy for access to their child's team.
  • If we raise a price, we'll tell existing customers at least sixty days ahead and the new price applies from the next renewal, not retrospectively.
  • Refunds: cancel a monthly plan any time and we'll refund the current month if it's barely been used. Annual plans are refunded pro rata for the remaining months. Ask and it happens.

Early access

Parts of TeamCaddy — currently the Club and League tiers — are labelled early access. That means the feature exists, is supported, and may still change shape. We won't bill you for anything marked "in build", and we won't quietly move a feature you're paying for into a higher tier.

We aim for the service to be available whenever you need it, and we watch it. During early access we don't offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we'd rather say that than print a number we can't stand behind.

Ending it

  • You can cancel at any time from the app. Your team drops to the free plan; nothing is deleted, and you can export the roster and schedule.
  • You can delete a team or an account outright. That removes it from the live system straight away and from backups within thirty days.
  • We can suspend or close an account that breaks the conduct rules above. Except where a child is at risk or the law requires otherwise, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.
  • If we ever shut TeamCaddy down, you get at least ninety days' notice and a full export of everything, in formats you can actually use.

Liability

TeamCaddy helps you organise a team. It doesn't supervise children, doesn't verify that a coach is suitable, and doesn't guarantee that a message arrives on a phone with no signal. Decisions about safety, selection and supervision are yours.

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We'll email account holders and show a notice in the app before a material change takes effect. If you don't agree, cancel — and we'll refund the unused part of what you've paid.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the TeamCaddy contracting entity is registered. That entity, its address and the governing law are named on the subscription agreement we send when you take a paid plan, and we'll tell you before you pay rather than after. For consumers, this doesn't take away rights you have under the law where you live.
